With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in aquarium and terrarium husbandry, we specialize in freshwater aquariums, saltwater reef tanks, custom aquarium installation, aquascaping, water quality management, and aquarium maintenance for residential and commercial clients throughout the Portland metro area. Behind Bridge City Aquarium is owner and founder Jarrod Chavez—a lifelong aquarist whose love for nature runs deep. From an early age, Jarrod was captivated by the complexity and harmony of living systems. What began as a childhood fascination with reptiles and amphibians quickly blossomed into a full-fledged calling. He taught himself everything he could, eventually breeding dozens of species of fish and reptiles and turning his passion into a lifelong profession.
